'View'

Before we go into any of the functions you may like to change the way you VIEW the coverage in your Monitoring Inbox.

The default 'List View' allows you to see a snippet of text and a summary of all datapoints regarding the articles. However, clicking this dropdown on the top right of the set of articles you can change the view to a table view:

With this icon, you then have the ability to select the columns you wish to include in the view:

Each column will also have the ability to be sorted (just click the title) and you can drag the column left or right, depending on where you want it. This will also be the order if you then download to excel:

'Update'

After selecting coverage with the tick boxes along the side or the box at the very top to select all, you will be able to bulk update or change the way the coverage is reported on. Click 'Update' and you have 3 options:

  • Categories - The Category update, allows further clarity on what your coverage is about. These Categories are then reportable. Not completely unlike Tags:

  • Sentiment - The platform automatically adds sentiment to the articles, however this option allows you to bulk change the sentiment of articles selected:

  • Tags - Tags are already automatically added to coverage, however these can be added manually too. This option will allow you to add multiple Tags to the selected coverage.

NB. You can also remove tags in this way.

'Link'

After selecting coverage, the Link option allows you to link coverage to Distributions you have sent in the past. This will then create a chart which allows you to monitor/attribute the work you have been doing vs how much coverage has been created:

You may also set up an Article Relationship so coverage is linked to Distributions automatically, click HERE for a full guide on setting these up.

'Share'

This option allows you to Forward coverage, a little like the Daily Alerts. But these are ad-hoc.

Select the coverage, and click 'Share':

Firstly type the Subject line for the email. You will then have the ability to select users you wish to send the coverage to. Either select users (who have access to Vuelio) or you may free-type a new email address and select it, then click Done. That will set who the ad-hoc alert goes to:

You may then either Send, or if you click Advanced Options, you'll have the ability to Copy the existing alert, or set up a different look, click each of the pink buttons for further custom options:

'Delete'

This option will allow you to delete coverage you have selected.

Select one of the reasons below and this will help us in the future with analysing why you are removing coverage:

'Clipbook'

For a guide on Clipbooks click HERE.

'Export'

Clicking the Export button after selecting coverage allows you to download all data to a CSV file. You can select all with the checkbox at the very top of the coverage list, for amendments to the columns which will populate in the CSV file, please refer to the guide on 'View' above in this guide:
