Tag Groups and Tags allow you to create bespoke reports concentrating on the coverage important to you.

These are usually set up as part of your brief and will automatically allow the Vuelio platform to identify coverage which mentions these sets of keywords. But when autotags are created some coverage pertaining to these tags may have already been received historically. Tags will then need to be added manually.

Please Note: The platform will not retrospectively add Tags to previously received coverage. It will start tagging coverage from the day it is created.

Creating New Tags

You will need the relevant permissions first to create new Tags, if you do not see the option below, contact [email protected]:

Firstly, navigate to the Monitoring Inbox:

Next click Tags on the top right hand side of the screen:

Once selected, you will see all the currently created Tags on the right hand side. This will tell you if the Tag is active and there will be options to Copy, Edit or Delete.

To create a new Tag, click 'Create Tag' on the top right hand side:

Here's how to fill in the fields on this page:

Tag Name - This is the name of your Tag, which will show in Columns and Charts.

Tag Group - Use the dropdown to select a premade Group, or click 'New Group' to create a new one. Just type the name of the New Group and click Create.

Enabled - Make sure this box is ticked to make it live.

Set Colour for chart (optional) - As stated, this allows the Tag to be a certain colour in the charts.

Automated Tagging

Saved Searches - Click the Plus button to select a premade saved search. This will enable to Tag to be added to results within this/these selected search(es). Click HERE for a guide on creating Saved Searches.

Search Terms - For automated Tags, completing this box with Boolean identifies the content within the saved search to be tagged.

Click 'Save' once your done and this will enable the Tag to be used.

Please Note: The platform will not retrospectively add Tags to previously received coverage. It will start tagging coverage from the day it is created.

Adding Tags Retrospectively

You may also be reading this guide as you just added new tags into your platform and you wish to tag everything that has come in historically. Therefore you need to locate the coverage and Tag it all manually.

Once you have located the coverage you wish to add Tags to (Click this guide for searching), select them with the checkboxes, then select the 'Update' button along the top of the page:

This will then allow you to choose the Tag(s) you wish to be added to the coverage selected. Click Update once done. Removing Tags from articles is the same, but you are selecting the Tags to be removed instead.

Tag Groups

Tag Groups are essentially a folder made up of Tags. Therefore you may have several Tag Groups and lots of Tags within these. You can also filter and create charts using Tag Groups.

You have the ability in the platform to create and manage your own Tag Groups.

Creating Tag Groups

There are a couple of ways of creating new Tag Groups:

  1. Click Tags on the top right of the main Monitoring Inbox page>

Next, select "Create Tag Group" on the top right, type in the name for your new group, and select "Create & Save">

Your Tag Group is now available to add new Tags to.

  2. Click Tags on the top right of the main Monitoring Inbox page>

Next you can click Create Tag on the top right>

While creating the new Tag as per the guide above, you can select New Group, type the name of the new Tag Group, then click Create>

Editing Tag Groups

Editing Tag Groups allows you to change the names of the Tag Groups, or change the order they appear in the filters:

Firstly select Tags on the top right of the Monitoring Inbox>

Over on the right, you will see 3 dots. Click this and you will be presented with the 3 available options>

Copy Tag Group - This will create a duplicate of the current Tag Group, you will be given the opportunity to rename the new one if you wish.

Edit Tag Group - Allows you to re-name the Tag Group.

Delete Tag Group - Deletes the Tag Group.

Additionally, along the top of the list of Tag Groups and associated Tags you will have the option to "Manage Tag Order" (you can see this option in the image above)>

If you click and drag one of these Tag Groups, you can re-place it anywhere in the list. This list will then be reflected in the Monitoring Inbox filters when you click into Tags>
