Firstly, navigate to the Monitoring Inbox and select Tags on the top right:

On the left hand side, you will then see all the area's you have the ability to manage, this is where you can select Article Relationships:

You will then have the ability to:

Create a New Relationship

Select "Create Relationship" on the top right:

You then have a few fields to complete. On the left side:

  1. Name your Relationship, this will provide the naming convention of the link between this particular set of coverage and a Distribution.

  2. Remember to flick this switch to enable the relationship, so it starts working.

  3. This option will dropdown and show you all the current feeds in your account. these are usually broken down into media types for each of your clients/subject areas. You may multi select these so the Distribution links with content sourced from these feeds.

  4. Choose the Distribution/Release you wish the content to be linked to.

  5. Select the date you wish to start monitoring.

  6. Select the last date you wish to monitor. This is when tracking/linking will stop.

On the right hand side:

  1. Flick this switch to utilise a search you have already created and wish to use. This could be a saved search which looks for coverage mentioning "Keyword one" AND "Phrase one". Therefore, as a result, articles containing those keywords etc will be linked to our selected Distribution.

  2. Or you may decide to enter in your own search terms here. e.g. ("Keyword One" OR "Keyword Two") AND "Phrase one".

You can click HERE for a guide on writing Boolean.

  3. The Validate button will check if your Search Terms work in practice and adhere to the Boolean language rules.

  4. Here you can then save your Article Relationship.

Edit a Relationship

From the Article relationship screen, it is possible to Clone, Edit and Delete Article Relationships:

Clone - This will provide a pop up which asks you to confirm if you wish to clone/copy the relationship selected. It will also allow you to rename the copy, instead of adding "-copy" to the end of the original name.

Edit - Will allow you to edit an already created Article relationship. You will have the same options as when you initially created the relationship.

Delete - This option will provide you with the option to confirm deletion of an already created relationship.
