To locate and create Dashboards in the Monitoring Inbox, firstly navigate to the module:

Once here, click across to the Monitoring Dashboard via this icon and selecting the dropdown which will show you a number of Custom and Master Dashboards:

Master Dashboards

These master dashboards are pre-designed to give you the best of what Vuelio has to offer in terms of sets of Charts. These sets of charts can be edited and saved as a new Dashboard, but the original cannot be changed.

  • News Monitoring - Click HERE for a rundown of each chart on this Dashboard. This is the most standard with the most used set of charts.

  • Prominence - Prominence can be presented in charts by selecting and using Tags. Prominence scores are assigned to each article based on data gathered; including the number of mentions, placement of the mentions (headline, etc.), size of the article and exclusivity. Click HERE for a further guide.

  • Mindshare - Mainly Share of Voice and Outlet charts, these can be manipulated to show certain sets of tags and saved as a custom dashboard.

  • Social Media - Only showing the data for the Social Content allows you to breakdown coverage by volume, feed, sentiment, and even Top Authors.

  • Traditional vs. Social - This set of charts will give you a side by side comparison of your coverage from social channels versus the more traditional Print, online and broadcast media sources.

Custom Dashboards

You may either create brand new dashboards yourself or clone and edit (Save As) dashboards which have already been created:

Creating a New Dashboard

To create a new Dashboard altogether, it is best to select the date range required for your report. This will give you a good understanding of how the coverage will show the data in the charts you create.

Click the analytics button on the top left, then select 'Create Dashboard' on the top right >

Click the Pencil Icon on the top left and rename the dashboard, you can also add a description >

Adding Charts

Options of available charts will appear on the left hand side. There are four types and all types can be easily dragged and dropped into the dashboard and then edited on the right:

  • Standard - These charts are on the Master Dashboard by default.

  • Prominence - Prominence can be presented in charts by selecting and using Tags. Prominence scores are assigned to each article based on data gathered; including the number of mentions, placement of the mentions (headline, etc.), size of the article and exclusivity.

  • Mindshare - These charts allow you to select from

  • Social - These charts target content which has come through social channels.

You can then use the filters and options on the right to edit the chart.

Editing Charts

If someone has already created a dashboard or you wish to edit a Master Dashboard, firstly click into it from the dropdown selector, then use the Edit button on the top right >

The data available to select in each chart can differ, depending on the type of chart, click here for more details.

You can click an existing chart and edit it on the right hand side.

From here you can select the filters and data for that specific chart. This also works if you wish to amend a chart already on the dashboard. In the image above I've selected the Top Tags chart and wish to amend it using the filters on the right.

You have the options of amending the Name, Description, Date range and Chart Type can also be amended. Additionally you have the ability to change the chart based on filters. These will then override the search of the dashboard you selected initially on the left. The full list of filters and explanations can be found HERE.

The chart will reflect the changes and only show you data from the coverage matching the filters and options selected selected.

Split Data

In some chart types (apart from Pie Charts) you will also have the ability to split data within the main segments of the chart. In the example below I have added a Source Type chart and split the data by the Tag, this way I can tell which Tags per prominent across the difference Sources of coverage:
