Journalist Enquires - Searching

This is how you can search and filter through your enquiries once you have completed your initial set-up.

Once you have completed your set-up (for setup use this guide here), this will be your landing page to begin searching through your enquiries and finding the results you are interested in:

  1. Dropdowns for each filter

    • Categories (ResponseSource Subscription needed).

    • Status (Open or Closed).

    • Date Parameters.

    • Keywords.

  2. List of all active filters and the ability to clear them all.

  3. Hide unsubscribed enquiries

  4. Change your results between List and Table view.

  5. Enquiry Listing.

Filters

At the top of the page, you have access to your filters to amend what you are searching for, as well as what current filters are active.

  • Each Filter you click into has a dropdown where you can amend your search.

    • Categories

      • Tick the boxes of the categories you wish to search by and click "Done"

        • You may see only a selection of options that will match your category subscription.

    • Status

      • Here you can select to look at just opened or closed enquiries.

    • Date

      • This will give you the ability to use preset date ranges or bespoke date parameters to focus your search.

    • Keywords

      • You can use keywords or phrases to narrow your enquiry results.

  • Active Filters

    • This will show current active filters and the ability to remove them individually.

    • Clear All - This will remove all search filters so you can start a new search.

Results

You look through your search results in 2 ways:

  • List View

  • Table View

  1. Status - Whether the enquiry is open or closed.

  2. Outlet - Which News Outlet the enquiry has come from.

  3. Summary/Enquiry Type - The Title or Summary of the enquiry and what type (Review, Case study, Article Information, etc.).

  4. Media Type - The enquiry's related media type (Consumer Media, National Newspaper.

  5. Categories - List for categories related to this enquiry.

  6. Sender - The contact and their position who submitted the enquiry.

  7. Submission and Deadline Date - The dates of when the enquiry was submitted and its deadline.

If you find some enquiries with omitted information, this may be due you not being subscribed to that category of enquiry. If this is the case, do get in contact with your Account Manager.

Once you have clicked into the enquiry, this opens the summary. You can then click on "View Full Enquiry" to open up the enquiry within ResponseSource
