What are Keywords & Tags?

Keywords - Vuelio utilises combinations of keywords with connecting terms, qualifiers and /or exclusions (advanced boolean search logic) to source the articles that we deliver into your platform. To further ensure accurate results, consider including variations of your target keywords. For example, you can include synonyms or related phrases, such as substituting "technology reviews" with "tech reviews" or "IT evaluations".

Depending on your subscription we may cover any of the following sources: print, online, broadcast, social and / or podcasts and can apply tailored search terms to these different media types to ensure we monitor only relevant content.

Tags - These are used to categorise coverage within the Vuelio platform, tags are bespoke to each client and are used to surface mentions of companies, spokespeople, topics, themes and the like. Tags are applied automatically based on specific keywords appearing within your articles; tags can be used as filters to easily find coverage as well as being incredibly useful for analysis, eg. comparing different tags - eg. volume of company mentions vs competitors, or spokesperson share of voice. Additionally, grouping related keywords or themes under a single tag can help ensure that all relevant content is captured during a search, providing a more comprehensive view of the topics you are monitoring.

Set up your Tags! Why are they Important?

As per the above, Tags can be used to label your content. However these Tags can also be used as a filter in your search for content, aswell as provide you with a whole host of Charts!

The Mindshare Dashboard in the Monitoring Inbox will utilise these Tags to allow you to split the data from standard charts. In the charts below we take everyday data like sentiment, reach or even just a split of content received across a certain set of Tags >

Dashboards - The default is the best..right?

Our set of default Dashboards will provide you with a good starting point to create your own charts and set up. However, if you use the aforementioned Tags, you could be missing out on additional ways of reporting.

Dashboards, once created are shared by your organisation so you can create your own set of Charts required for each type of set of reporting. These can also be set as your default if required.

We already have a few Dashboards for you to choose from, but allowing the customisation and use of charts spanning across all three of these dedicated Dashboards (Standard, Prominence, Mindshare) allows optimisation when exporting of charts and PDF's of the entire Dashboard. What is Good? What do Good reports look like?

We all have quota's and goals set for us, but beyond just standard numbers, what could work well with the Vuelio platform?

Coverage by Top Tier reading lists

It is possible with the use of Target Outlet Lists, to set up a report for how much coverage has been received from your most important titles.

Step by Step set up:

  • Create a Target Outlet List

  • Apply your TOL as a filter to your monitoring coverage

  • Use the Top Outlets Chart to determine a rise or fall.

Split By Charts

Some charts in the Dashboards will have the ability to filter the chart by certain Tags and Filters. Further to this, the 'Split By' option will allow you to add a second level of data. Therefore a Tag Chart can add Split By 'Source', which in turn shows the breakdown of Tags by their Source >

Split coverage by Top Tags

What Tags/Mentions are most important to you? Do you wish to show the most talked about themes where your organisation are referenced? Or which competitors are getting the most coverage around a certain subject?

Step by Step set up:

  • Create your Tags initially

  • Edit a chart on the Dashboard to show content ONLY containing those Tags

Tags By Sentiment Breakdown

If sentiment is important to your organisation—whether you're using automated sentiment as an indicator or conducting manual sentiment analysis—you can highlight sentiment in each of your charts by using the 'Split Data' feature.

Step by Step set up:

  • Set sentiment for your coverage.

  • Edit the mindshare charts on your dashboard, and use the Split data option in the editing options.
