What does the Feed Creation do?
Using the News Archive, you can now create a feed (using keywords and/or other filters) and create an ongoing online search, which will in turn feed into the Monitoring Inbox.
Searches can only be saved as an ongoing monitoring search if it yields 3000 or less articles over a 30-day window historically (this is calculated automatically).
There is no limit to the number of searches you can can create.
Once content reaches the Monitoring Inbox, Tags and Sentiment will auto-add to coverage if they have been previously set up.
Content will be viewable with all other content on Charts & Dashboards.
You can only disable a feed you have set up, and cannot edit the query once it has been set up.
How to create a feed
Firstly navigate to the News Archive and set up a search as you usually would. Click HERE for a full guide if required.
Once the search has been setup, click 'Create Monitoring Feed' >
Name your feed and this will then be available to select in your filters of the Monitoring Inbox >
How to view results
Firstly navigate to the Monitoring Inbox >
Use the filters on the left hand side and select the Feed you just created. For this I added the Prefix NA (News Archive).
This will then bring up all content which has populated for the date range and will take into account any other filters you have added to the search.
All this content will still show as usual in your Charts and Dashboards.
How to remove a feed
Feeds can be disabled and deleted via the Tags area, up on the top right (you can see this in the above image), then click Feeds on the left >
You will have either the option to Edit the Feed (with the pencil icon) >
From here you can toggle the "Enable" option and click 'Save'. Therefore coverage will no longer be sourced by this feed.
The Delete option (the bin icon) will do the same, but you will not be able to use the feed in the future, you will need to build it again from scratch.
