Firstly, navigate to Political Contacts using the menu in the top left corner >
There are many filters to utilise in the Political Browser, however you will only usually use a few of them >
Institution – A way of filtering and navigating to contacts within specific APPG’s / Committees. After initially selecting have the ability to drill down into the filters further by clicking the blue arrow >
Interests (Professional) – Allows you to search for contacts who on their profile has a specific professional interest in certain policy areas, e.g. Community, Social Action, International Aid etc. You may look for one or more keywords by adding a “;” between words >
Party – Allows you to drill down into stakeholders from specific Parties.
You will see along the top, all filters used will be in columns, so you have the ability to remove these either on the top right of each column, or on the far right where it shows you all selections >
Once you have selected stakeholders you would like to add to your own Groups, you will see they will have been added to your Briefcase >
Click through to the Briefcase and you may either type the name of an existing group, or type a new name to create a brand new Group. Click Save to simultaneously create and save the Group >
