Article relationships will allow you to relate either a Subject or a Press Release to an item of your coverage either manually or automatically.
Manually
An article can be manually associated with a Press release by firstly searching then selecting the coverage, using the checkboxes at the side of the coverage:
Next you can select "Link to Release" as per the above. Your coverage will now appear in a chart in the Analysis page itemising the coverage attached to your Releases:
Automatically
You can request access to this option this from via your Account Manager.
The option to add and edit Article Relationships will be found within Account settings:
Click through to this option and you may see currently set up relationships.
Click New Relationship to create a new one. You may also edit or delete from here too:
Next, you need to complete the fields as follows:
Relationship Name - Name the relationship.
Ranking - Articles can be automatically assigned to one Release & Subject at a time. If the article matches multiple relationship criteria (search terms) Ranking will choose whichever has the higher rank.
NewsFeed Client - Some accounts may contain sub accounts, therefore this lets you choose which account or sub account is effected. Please note this can be left blank.
NewsFeed Group - Sometimes coverage will be categorised into Groups. E.g. This account could have different sets of online coverage like National, International etc. Please note this can be left blank.
NewsFeed - This relates the tagging of coverage to just one set of Newsfeed. E.g. Print, Online, Broadcast. Please note this can be left blank.
Related Release - This is where you select which Press Release / Distribution the coverage will be related to.
Related Subject - If you wish to associate coverage to a Subject/ Issue.
Date From - Set a date of when you wish to start relating to coverage.
Date To - If you would like to set an end date (e.g. as part of a campaign).
Search Terms - These are the keywords and phrases the platform will use to identify the coverage and relate it to your Press Release.
βNOTE: You will need to create a separate search string if you require coverage to be related to more than one subject/release.

Once you have set your parameters, remember to click SAVE on the top right of the screen.
Coverage will now be related automatically and will appear in the usual way on the Media Monitoring Module in the column info, article profiles and charts.
