Managing Settings in ResponseSource

How to easily navigate your Journalist Enquiry settings within ResponseSource

Written by Jonathan Holland

This training guide is designed to help you configure your alert settings to maximise the efficiency of your workflow. By tailoring your categories, establishing keyword highlights, and filtering out irrelevant content, you can ensure that your inbox remains focused on the most valuable media opportunities. Use the sections below to customise your preferences and control your email delivery frequency.

Manage Settings

Ensure your alerts are right for you in terms of both content and frequency.

Categories

On this page, you will be able to toggle your subscribed categories on and off depending on your areas of interest

Keywords

Here, you have the ability to add “keywords” which will highlight to you your topics of interest when they appear within your enquiry email alerts. Please note this will not limit your emails to enquiries which only contain these keywords, as that may cause you to miss out; rather, it serves as a tool to ensure you don’t miss the most relevant enquiries.

Filters

Within the filter section, you can remove the types of enquiries that you know will not be relevant to you to ensure the important enquiries are not hidden or buried.

Bloggers

If you wish to receive blogger enquiries, it is recommended that you think about the minimum following that you want your featured bloggers to have.

Digest

Clients have different preferences when it comes to the frequency they receive the journalist enquiry emails. Choose from either receiving all enquiries individually as well as 2x daily digests per day, all enquiries individually, or only receiving the 2x digests per day.

Blacklist

If there are any individual senders or outlets from whom you do not wish to receive any enquiries, the blacklist function will assist with this.
