Exporting contact data is a core capability of Vuelio, allowing you to extract individual profile summaries or bulk datasets for external reporting and campaign management. This guide outlines the available export methods and best practices for managing exported files effectively.
Best Practice – Data Accuracy: Avoid storing exported files locally for extended periods. The Vuelio central database is updated continuously. Downloading data on-demand ensures your communications always use the most accurate and up-to-date contact information.
Exporting an Individual Contact Profile (PDF)
To download a full, single-contact summary document:
Locate the Profile: Search for and open the desired contact profile using Quicksearch.
Initiate PDF Export: Choose the option to download the full profile as a PDF document.
Customise Output Fields: In the export configuration pop-up window, select or clear the checkboxes next to specific profile sections to include or exclude information.
Download: Click Download to generate and save the PDF file.
Bulk Exporting Contacts (CSV)
To export multiple contact records simultaneously, choose one of the three workflow options below based on your starting point:
Export Directly from Search Results
Run a new search in Vuelio.
From the results page, tick the boxes of the contacts you need or the select all box at the top.
Select Export CSV.
Format Note: While system prompts or menus may reference "Excel," exports are delivered as standardised .csv files, which are fully compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet tools.
Export from a Saved Group
Add your desired contacts from contact or outlet profiles into a designated Group.
Navigate to the saved Group.
Tick the boxes of the contacts you need or the select all box at the top.
Click Export to generate and download the contact file.
Export via the Contacts Module with Outlet Filtering
Open the Contacts module in Vuelio.
Apply the Outlets filter to locate contacts affiliated with a specific organisation or media outlet.
Select the checkboxes next to the target contacts.
Click Export to generate your downloadable file.
