What happens when I send a request?

Once you submit your request it gets checked over by our Journalist Enquiry moderation team. Their job is to ensure every request meets our guidelines and goes out to the right categories.

Every request must provide a genuine coverage opportunity and not require payment in return. Please do not submit any commercial requests as these will be rejected. See our Acceptable Use Policy for more details.

How long does it take for my request to be sent out?

During office hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) we aim to process requests within an hour, most are within 30 minutes. If you’re a first time submitter we may get in touch to confirm who you are and who you’re writing for so this may take a little longer.

Who are Journalist Enquiry Service requests sent to?

Our thousands of subscribers include PR professionals at most of the UK’s top agencies, freelance PR professionals, in-house PR and marketing departments for businesses, charities, public sector bodies, and entrepreneurs doing their own PR.

They’ll subscribe to the categories that are most relevant to them/their clients so your enquiry will be distributed to the people who are most likely to be able to provide the answers and resources you need.
