Creating and Managing Users on Vuelio

How to help your staff/colleagues become users and gain access to the Vuelio platform.

To create new user accounts on your Vuelio platform, you must have User Management permissions.

  • If you do not have this permission, please check with a colleague who does, as they can add users for you.

  • If you need User Management permissions yourself, please contact your Account Manager directly.

Accessing User Management

  1. Navigate to the cog logo in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select User Management.

The User Management Dashboard

The main User Management screen provides an overview of your platform's user accounts:

  1. Seats Remaining: The number of available user licenses for your platform.

  2. Result Count: The total number of users currently on your platform.

  3. Name: The name of the user.

  4. Email: The email address associated with the user.

  5. Status: Indicates if the user is

    Active or Deactivated.

  6. + User: Click this button to begin creating a new user account.

  7. Send Users Invites: Sends an invitation email to all current users on the platform.

Creating a New User

To begin the process, click the + User button. You will need to provide the following information:

  • First Name

  • Middle Name (Optional)

  • Last Name

  • Email address

🚨 Important Licensing Guideline: Users must be set up with an individual person's name and email address, and NOT a group or shared email address. Using group email addresses goes strictly against NLA/CLA licensing guidelines and may result in additional charges. Please ensure you setup users using individual email addresses only.

Note on Email Addresses: Once a user is created, the email address cannot be changed. If a user's email address changes within your company, you must deactivate the old user account and create a brand new user with the new email address.

Setting User Permissions

  1. Under the Group Membership section, you will find a list of platform modules.

  2. Tick the boxes on the right to enable access for that specific module.

Finalising and Saving

  • The Inactive checkbox is located below the Group Membership dropdown. Ticking this box will deactivate the user from the platform.

  • Once all details and permissions are correct, click Save to complete the user creation process.

Post-Creation Options

After saving, a review screen will appear, giving you the following actions:

  • Send User Invite: This is crucial. Clicking this will send an automated email to the new user, allowing them to set up their password and log in. Once their password is set, they can log in via signin.vuelio.co.uk or app.vuelio.com.

  • Edit: Returns you to the previous setup page to make changes.

  • Cancel: Takes you back to the main list of users.

Your user has now been successfully set up on the platform, and an invitation has been sent for them to activate their account.
