A Subject is an area of the platform, in which you can associate different types of communications to an overarching project, and report/assess the data at a later date. Subjects forms part of our SRM offering and are sometimes known as Issues, Campaigns or Topics; we can rename this on your request.

With this reporting element, it is possible to show a report/charting of all the touchpoints associated to a Subject.

Firstly, navigate to the Subjects module >

This first page will show you a list of all the currently created Subjects >

Next you may search, using the filters on the left to find the Subjects you wish to report on. Here is a list of the current filters:

Favourites Filter - It is possible to mark your Subjects as a favourite, this filter will then show all Subjects with this marker. This is set per user. Click HERE for a guide on marking your Subject as a favourite.

Search Subject - This will allow you to type in the name of the subject to find it quickly.

Global Category - These can be set by [email protected] but will initially have defaults like, e.g. Consumer, corporate, legal, financial. Contact [email protected] to edit this further.

Status - Initially set up as 'In Progress' or 'Complete', but you may opt to have further options added.

Assignee - This is effectively the initial creator/owner of the Subject.

Type - This dropdown usually defines some of the reasoning for the Subject

Direction - Initially set up as Proactive or Reactive.

Contact - This option allows you to search and find all Subjects which have a certain contact attached.

Outlet - This allows you to search and find all Subjects which have a contact attached from a certain Organisation/Publication.

Start Date - When the Subject was first created

End Date - You may select an end date for the Subject/Campaign.

Related Interactions - This allows you to search and find all Subjects which have a certain Interaction attached.

Related Distributions - This allows you to search and find all Subjects which have a certain Distribution attached.

Related Coverage - This allows you to search and find all Subjects which have a certain piece of coverage/content attached.

User Defined Fields - These can be in the form of multiselect/dropdowns and these further options will allow you to find subjects where these options have been used. The system will itemise each dropdown etc just like the above other options of filters.

Once filters have been selected, the Subjects matching the search will be shown in the middle area.

Dashboards & Charts

You can then click the Analytics icon in the top left to navigate to the charts, which will then show all the data from that set of Subjects in your filtered search >
