New Interactions Via Email

Create Interactions by Forwarding Emails to Vuelio

You now have the ability to create Interactions by forwarding your email to Vuelio.

When you receive an email from an influencer or stakeholder, simply forward the email to [email protected].

Please Note: This functionality is currently restricted to users that are set up on only a single Vuelio account. ​We want to expand this at a later date once we can securely distinguish between multiple accounts for the same user.​

Once the email is received by Vuelio, it will be transferred to your account automatically. As per the above, you must be signed up for this beforehand.

The data from the email will connect via the following >

Title: This is populated by the email Subject.

Content: The body of the email populates the details of the Interaction.

Assignee: The Interaction will be assigned to the user that forwards it.

Contacts: Any email addresses within the body of the email will be automatically matched against Contacts on the database and will then be linked to the Interaction. A private Contact will be created if none are found. This requires emails of a first.last name format.

Please Note: As all contacts within the email are scanned and created as Private Contacts if not already in the Database, you may need to manually remove some.

Navigate to the Contacts module, and use the Filter "Private Contact Results Only". This will allow you to view all contacts which have been added as Private contacts. Click into the contact you wish to delete, and the Delete Contact option will be within the Actions button at the top of the profile >

Attachments: Any attachments on the forwarded email will be automatically uploaded to the asset library and linked to this Interaction. An 'eml' file of the email itself will be also be attached >
